Recently, Ferrari motor international trade ( Shanghai ) Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration of market supervision and administration on the basis of the regulations on the management of the defective automobile products recall and the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective automobile products. Since July 1, 2019, the import of California, California T, FF, 458, F12berlinetta, F12tdf, 812 Superfast, GTC4Lusso, GTC4Lusso T, 488 GTB and 488 Spider has been recalled to 2071 vehicles.
Recall models
During the period from April 8, 2013 to November 28, 2017, parts of California, California, T, FF, 458, F12berlinetta, F12tdf, 812 Superfast, GTC4Lusso, GTC4Lusso T, 488 GTB and 488 Spider were imported.
Recall reason
The occupant frontal airbag of the vehicle was assembled with the ammonium nitrate gas generator without drying agent produced by Ota. When the airbag is deployed, the gas generator of the airbag may be damaged, causing debris to fly out, causing injury to the personnel in the vehicle.
Solutions
Ferrari motor International Trading (Shanghai) Limited will replace the improved airbags free of charge within the recall area to eliminate potential safety hazards.
